Happy Mothers Day!

Brandon took the girls and I up to the mountains today for some hiking and a picnic lunch.  The girls had so much fun running around playing and breathing in some great fresh air.

A Day In The Life Of Hailey

Catching Up!

I know, I have been MIA again, just so busy to keep up with the blog much.

We are all doing fine, Hailey has been feeling so good and she has been so happy which has been wonderful!

After Bill left, daddy arrived for the week so the girls got to spend lots of time with him.

We had Hailey's big final Leukemia function which was fun for her SC Leukemia Girl Of The Year.  We raised lots of money so we were very happy about that!



They had a silent auction that night.


They also had a live auction and they played a new video I had to make up of A Day In The Life Of Hailey.

We did some strawberry pickin' last week.

I Need A Break!

If it isn't one thing it's another!

Taylor WAS NOT jumping on the bed (that's what she told the Dr, ha, ha, the 2 others sisters told me different plus the blood evidence was on the bed) and cut her ear open so today we spent the day in the ER getting stitches.

I need a break, or maybe a drink, lol!

I thought they could probably just glue it but cartridge had to be stitched back so that is why she had to get the stitches (it only took four, geez, I could have done that by myself).

Drag Race Leukemia Fundraiser

Yesterday we had another leukemia fundraiser to attend, it was a drag race event.  When we got there, the couple that was hosting the event were so super nice, showed us all around, introduced us to everyone there and we started out with a yummy BBQ lunch.

While we were eating the cars were already behind us warming up.  (notice Hannah & Taylor have their ear plugs in, it was LOUD)

Unfortunately while we were eating it started to rain, then it just downpoured for hours so the drag race had to be cancelled.  They were holding a raffle and silent action so we had fun with that.

Not a whole lot of pictures again, I get to these functions and am just so busy talking with people there that I just don't have time to. But, we had a fun day even with the rain and met an amazing bunch of people!

Leukemia BBQ Fundraiser

Last night we had a leukemia BBQ fundraiser to attend and as usual we had a great time.
The girls had so much fun and as long as my boys had all the free beer to drink they were good to go too!
I am one lucky mama!

I took only a few pictures early on as I got so busy chatting with everyone there.

Duck Dynasty, Clinic and Ice Cream

Bill has been up here all week from Florida and I am just one happy mama to have 6 of my kids all under one roof.

The boys have gone hunting/shooting and hiking all week and while they are home they have been drinking beer, eating chips and dip and watching Duck Dynasty.  They even got the girls turned on to Duck Dynasty, ugh!

Hailey crashed early as usual.

Hailey had clinic this morning and all her counts are still great, I am so happy abut that!  I have some exercises I need to do with Hailey here at home with her limping (the neuropathy or the drop foot from the Vincristine chemo) and if things don't look good here soon she will have to have some x-rays or MRI done and may have to start physical therapy.  We just don't know how bad the damage is or if it will get better once she is off treatment but the Dr.'s are just trying to stay up on it.

This was way before chemo kicked in, by tonight we were not a happy camper.

She didn't even cry today for accessing or de-accessing of her port and didn't get sick either, yay, so she got a Princess Memory Game from clinic today. Hailey felt good enough tonight to go out and get ice cream.
